Learn some Canadian style Jive moves !
From our Canadian Guest teachers Sandrine Lambon-Gagnon & Marc-Andre lefebvre visiting the UK in June! Sandrine & Marc-Andre will be hosting a 3-hour workshop for Brighton Jive Teaching Jive/Rockabilly moves canadian style.
Beginning first of all with the solo dances during her childhood, her steps preferred to go discover the universe of the fifties to its adolescence. Being part of the first group of student of Jivestudio, and the first team of the studio, Sandrine felt in love with this energetic dance that rockabilly jive is. Today, besides being a part of Jivestudio’s teachers team, she has the privilege of coaching the Jive Tonic team. She discovered with the years of the other dances swing, such as Lindy hop, the Balboa and Boogie-Woogie for which she teaches too today. Her love for the swing dances is only growing since her entry in this univers. It’s now with pleasure that she participates to many swing events and competitions.
For the last 2 years, she gained a good number of medals:

Started in 2001 -- Dancing swing on and off for the first few years... Met his current partner Martini (Martine Dufour) in 2005 and In 2006, he started dancing Rockabilly Jive.
Taught many beginners classes and initiation classes at various events (Monthly nights, shows, Red Hot‘n'Blue).
Participated twice (2009-2010) in Montreal Nuit Blanche; A night where 700 to 1000 people visited the studio of Rock Avenue for an initiation class. Participated twice (2008-2010) at the Journée De La Culture De Montreal.
Member of the Flying Redz, an inter-regional Jive dance crew from the province of Quebec (Montreal/Quebec/Chicoutimi).
